MichaelAugust 13, 2023It is proper that a wordsmith of Syd Barrett's caliber is represented in this form -- a single volume containing his lyrics for the early Pink Floyd and for his all-too-brief solo career. Though the body of work Barrett produced was slim (52 songs), he is responsible for some amazing lyrical achievements as Rob Chapman's brilliant introduction makes clear. The book is beautifully augmented by photos and Barrett's art.
